Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

At FileHubKit, accessible from our website, the privacy of our visitors is one of our utmost priorities. This Privacy Policy document explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how your files are protected.

1. Client-Side File Processing & Data Security

Unlike standard online file conversion websites, FileHubKit processes files locally in your web browser for Phase 1 image and PDF tools. When you select or drag a file into our tools (including Image Compressor, Image Resizer, JPG to WebP, PNG to WebP, JPG to PDF, PDF Merge, PDF Split, PDF to JPG, PDF Compressor, and Word Counter), the file data is read into your browser's local memory via HTML5 APIs and JavaScript.

Your files are never transmitted to, uploaded to, or stored on our servers. Once you close your browser tab, the temporary in-memory objects are instantly garbage-collected by your browser.

2. Information Collected via Contact Forms

If you voluntarily submit an inquiry through our Contact page, we collect your name, email address, subject, message content, and your IP address (to mitigate spam and abuse). We use this information solely to answer your questions and do not sell, rent, or trade your contact details with any third parties.

3. Cookies & Web Beacons

FileHubKit utilizes standard HTTP cookies exclusively for essential functionality, such as CSRF protection tokens and administrator session state. We do not use intrusive tracking cookies.

4. Third-Party Analytics & Advertising

We may utilize Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visitor metrics (such as page views, country of origin, and browser types) to improve website usability. These analytics do not capture personal identification or file data.

In addition, our website may display third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

5. Third-Party Libraries

Our PDF processing features utilize reputable client-side open source libraries (specifically pdf-lib, pdf.js, and jszip). These scripts execute solely within your browser environment and do not transmit telemetry or user documents externally.

6. User Rights & Inquiries

If you have questions about this policy or wish to request the deletion of any correspondence sent through our contact form, please reach out through our Contact Us page.
